I was a vagabond magpie bon vivant with lots of talent but very little motivation.

When grandma taught me how every part of my body corresponded to at least one other part of my body and how I could measure distance and perspective that way as well, I was sure that I had a superpower.

Turns it's just something I do naturally when I apply myself that not everyone else can.

One crucial shiny object I collected was the Japanese dual concept of shibui and shibumi, which very loosely translates into the more quality with which a thing is done results in a perceivably higher quality of product than something done without consideration for the quality in which something is done.

Briefly, things that were done with effortless perfection will appear to be effortlessly perfect. A triple axel, beautiful sushi, a sculpture that somehow flies or swims, the fluffiest angel food cake ever, an exactly campfire toasted marshmallow...

That is what I aspire to. I hope you enjoy my efforts.
